Joy Post and others bill of sale for Sloop Brave, 1813 February 27.

Joy Post, Ebenezer Hayden, Levi Post, Sala Post, Reuben Post, Robert Denison and Russell Post of Saybrook, Connecticut, sold the 38-ton sloop Brave to William Marvin of Saybrook, along with the mast, bowsprit, sails, anchors, cables and other necessaries. The document also spelled out the registration or enrollment for the vessel including her measurements. She was registered for the coastal trade and fisheries.
